In OCD series adsorption dryers, regeneration is achieved without the use of heat. The wet layer is dried by removing a small portion of the dry air from the discharge port at a pressure level close to atmospheric.

The blow speed is controlled by the flow in accordance with the specific exit conditions (dew point). Dry air is fed in the opposite direction through the wet layer, covering all the water vapor previously absorbed by the desiccant.

OCD dryers provide pressure alignment before switching in double-construction towers. This prevents the splash of the line and minimizes the depletion of the dehumidifier. After regeneration the towers gradually reduce the pressure to equalize before shutting down. The blow and regeneration streams move in a downward direction opposite to the drying stream.

A reliable PLC control panel with a touch screen on the OCD desiccants works flawlessly throughout its life. On the control panel is displayed what stage and which valves are operating right now. The dew point display is also available as an option. Multilanguage devices provide ease of use.

To achieve a constant dew point, Ozen uses a mixture of adsorption media: alumina, zeolite crystal and silica gel which in accordance with the working conditions are used in different proportions.

A very reliable electronic controller ensures that the dehumidifier works perfectly throughout its life cycle and that all service times are met. Thanks to the use of special valves and chemicals Ozen provide the lowest level of pressure drop compared to competitors.
